The ANSI code (electronic filing rules) are changing to version 5010 on January 1, 2012. 

The new 5010 standard has been written to accept the ICD-10 codes, but the change to those codes will not go into effect until October of 2013

Has there been any talk of if/how the ICD-10 will be crosswalked to Condition Codes?

Not that I've heard of yet.  The rumor is that they are worried about the 5010 change first and then will address the ICD-10 change.  We can only hope they come to their senses and standardize the codes for ambulance claims....

Just a head's-up.  HHS has announced their intent to delay the ICD-10 compliance deadline to October 1, 2014.  Here's a link for the details:
