They are scheduled to go into effect on October 1st, 2013.

The ANSI code (electronic filing rules) are changing to version 5010 on January 1, 2012.
The new 5010 standard has been written to accept the ICD-10 codes, but the change to those codes will not go into effect until October of 2013

Not that I've heard of yet. The rumor is that they are worried about the 5010 change first and then will address the ICD-10 change. We can only hope they come to their senses and standardize the codes for ambulance claims....
